Totally unusual scene — even before the game!
While the starting five of both teams are waiting on the field for the throw-off, Bayern’s NBA star Serge Ibaka is already heading to the referee’s court – ready to be substituted on! After 30 seconds and the first basket he comes into the game for Freddie Gillespie.
What’s behind it? Bayern coach Laso is probably surprised by the Lithuanians’ starting formation, so he wants to react quickly and brings in rebound and defensive rocket Ibaka.

Bayern won the second quarter 43:41. Strong comeback! Things get really exciting in the third quarter. The 15,000 fans in the hall create a mega atmosphere! The score was 57:57 and the score was 61:62 going into the last quarter.
