Bengals Defeat Bills in Impressive Victory

Joe Burrow threw two touchdown passes and the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Buffalo Bills 24-18 on Sunday.

The Bengals sign their fourth in a row. They won against a formidable opponent for a second week in a row after defeating the San Francisco 49ers 31-17 last Sunday.

They are 5-3, which places them tied for second in the American Association North Division with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns. The Baltimore Ravens sit atop the section with a 7-2 record.

Burrow had a season-high 348 passing yards. His touchdown passes went to Irv Smith and Drew Sample. Joe Mixon ran for 37 yards with a touchdown and Tee Higgins led the Bengals receivers with 110 yards.

Josh Allen passed for 258 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also scored a touchdown on the ground and ran for 44 yards.

The Bengals scored all of their touchdowns in the first half and held a 24-10 lead into the fourth quarter.

Allen then reignited the debate by joining Stefon Diggs for a 17-yard touchdown, then for a two-point conversion. The Bengals, however, managed to spend the remaining 3:22 without giving the ball back to the Bills.

Diggs finished the game with 86 yards, five more than Dalton Kinkaid.

The Bills (5-4) have been alternating between victory and defeat since crushing the powerful Miami Dolphins in Week 4. They have since lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, then won against the New York Giants before being upset by the New England Patriots and then beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.

They have won just one of their four away matches this season.
