Hall missed the next two games, but played back-to-back against the Nashville Predators on Saturday (16:39 of ice time in a 4-2 loss) and Buffalo Sabers on Sunday (17:05 of ice time in a 4-2 loss). 3-2). loss) before missing Chicago’s game against Columbus on Wednesday.

“One guy just knocked him down. Just a minor play and the way he went down was one of the last consequences,” Richardson said. “Then he tried to overcome it and in practice he hit a bump and that ended it.”

Connor Bedard, who was selected with the first pick in the 2023 NHL Draft and played on a line with Hall at times this season, called the news “heartbreaking.”
