Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October were two memorable days for the ASD Judo Valle Maira.
On Saturday 28 October the Dronero sports association took part in the European Cadet Cup in Slovenia. The competition took place inside the Koper arena and saw the participation of high-level athletes from all over Europe, Brazil and Algeria.
The ASD Judo Valle Maira was represented by the athlete Penone Yuri.
90 kg, he ranked eleventh: “As a first international experience, an excellent test – says his teacher – Yuri faced his opponents with technique and determination and it bodes well for the next competitions.”
On Sunday 29 October, however, the qualifications of the Italian A2 Championships and the black belt exams took place in the Leinì (TO) arena.
For the ASD, the athlete Belliardo Luisa, debutant/B weighing 57 kg, ranked second in the qualification of the Italian A2 Championships, a result which sees her qualified for the final phase together with the athletes Garelli Giacomo and Luciano Martina, already qualified in right for the National Ranking position.
The final will be scheduled for 11 and 12 November in Riccione.
On the same day, the ASD added another 1st DAN black belt to its list of achievements. The athlete Querniti Efrem received it. The examiners put him to the test, he demonstrated excellent preparation by facing, after months of hard physical-mental training, successfully passing the difficult exam.
