Argentina U-17 national team will fight Brazil U-17 national team in the quarterfinals 2023 U-17 World Cup. The Albiceleste will take revenge on the Selecao.
Brazil and Argentina faced off in the final match of the 2023 Sudamericano final phase. In the match at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa, Quito, Ecuador, on April 23 2023, Brazil won with a score of 3-2.
Brazil took a two goal lead in that match. Riquelme Filipi (11th minute) and Dudu (29th minute) who broke through Argentina’s goal.
Argentina named the score with goals from Juan Gimenez and Claudio Echeverri. Brazil decided the win with Joao Pedro’s goal.
Santiago Lopez also took part in the match. He also revealed his mission to take revenge on Brazil when he met at the Jakarta International Stadium, Friday (24/10/2023). The 2023 U-17 World Cup quarter-final match will kick off at 19.00 WIB.
“In Sudamericano, they surprised us with two of their goals, but we will work hard this week to win the game,” said Santiago Lopez on FIFA+.
Captain ArgentinaClaudio Echeverri, emphasized that Argentina’s mission is to win the 2023 U-17 World Cup. Therefore, Brazil must be eliminated in tonight’s match.
“We are here to become champions,” stressed Claudio Echeverri.
