Parma, yet another case of feminicide: a 66-year-old woman killed with a baseball bat by her husband
Just three days after the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, here in Italy is theyet another feminicide. A 66-year-old woman was killed by her husband with a baseball bat. It happened this morning at around 9.30 am, in the municipality of Salsomaggiore Terme, in the province of Parma. The woman, as far as we know, was of foreign nationality. Her husband, after grabbing what was probably the closest weapon to him, massacred her hitting her repeatedly with the bat.
The blows would have hit the woman on the head, where the most serious wounds inflicted by the murderer’s ferocity would have caused the death of the poor victim. For which the rescue efforts that intervened on site were, unfortunately, in vain.

Apparently the interventions of the 118 health workers who intervened on site were in vain. The wounds are too serious, deep and numerous reported by the woman.
Doctors and nurses could not help but confirm the death of the lady, who apparently died on the spot. Therefore, even the transfer to hospital was useless: for the poor sixty-year-old there was already nothing left to do.
The husband was stopped by the Carabinieri, who also rushed to the scene, probably alerted by the neighbors. The man is currently detained in the barracks at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
