Angelique Kerber’s Tournament Planning: From Bad Homburg to Wimbledon

Angelique Kerber’s tournament planning in her comeback season is taking shape; in preparation for the Grand Slam classic in Wimbledon, she will be playing again at the home tournament in Bad Homburg (June 22nd to 29th).

The organizers of the lawn event, which the three-time Grand Slam winner also accompanies as a tournament ambassador, announced this on Tuesday.

“The great atmosphere in the stands and the special atmosphere in the audience area are always something special,” said Kerber.

After the birth of her daughter Liana in February, the 35-year-old will return to the tennis tour next season, appearing for the German team for the first time at the United Cup in Australia at the end of December. Kerber won the title at the tournament premiere in Bad Homburg in 2021.
