Courageous and stubborn as always, the darling of Cap Como strung together a series of three victories on points against the strong German champion Eleni Zagliveri, then the highly rated Polish Anita Przybyl, then it was the turn of the emerging Teutonic Vilianna Baulin. The only one who blocked his way to gold was yet another Pole Anna Yatskevych, who beat her with the minimum difference of 4 points to 2. Not bad. What matters most is that she found the larian on the spot, launched in search of new laurels.
