Andy Murray has jumped to the side of Stefanos Tsitsipas
Novak Djokovic is in the semi-finals of the 2023 ATP Finals in Turin. He is right to do this after two wins against Holger Rune and Hubert Hurkacz and a narrow defeat against Jannik Sinner. And also due to the arithmetic of the finals, because Sinner still won the almost meaningless match against Holger Rune on Thursday evening.

A performance that Guibert Thierry also commented favorably on X. Actually. In reality, Lacoste’s boss also took a dig at Stefanos Tsitsipas on the short message service, accusing him of unfair behavior. As a reminder: Tsitsipas had given up against Rune after just three games, meaning the Dane was credited with a 2-0 win, which was almost enough to qualify for the semi-finals. If it hadn’t been for Jannik Sinner.
However, Thiery’s post did not receive a positive response from one of Tsitsipas’s prominent colleagues: Andy Murray. The Scot replied: “Bizarre post from the CEO of a sports brand… injuries are part of sport and not ‘unfair behaviour’.” Murray acknowledged his answer with a thumbs down.
