PSSI Technical Director, Indra Sjafri stated that all players U-17 Indonesian National Team in good condition, including Amar Brkic. Amar Brkic is ready to play against Panama in 2023 U-17 World Cup.

Brkic was not played by Bima Sakti in the first match between the Indonesian U-17 National Team vs Ecuador. From the information released, Brkic experienced diarrhea so he was not in ideal condition to compete.

Indra Sjafri then emphasized that the problem experienced by Brkic had been resolved. Brkic is ready to compete, as are the other players in the U-17 Indonesian National Team.

“Amar cannot be used because of diarrhea. Thank God, the doctor has given a report to the coach that Amar will be able to play against Panama tomorrow. All the players are in good condition, none of them are injured,” said Indra Sjafri in Surabaya, Saturday (11/11 ).

“I want to comment on the physical decline in the match because this is a tough match for 17 year olds, especially in front of an audience of around 30 thousand.”

“In the World Cup, mental problems certainly affect them. Thank God they were able to carry on with this until the final round of the match. After yesterday’s match, the first thing the coaching team did was how to recover the players. They really recovered, including as we can say here, not a single player was “We were injured. All the players were in very good condition as of Saturday afternoon’s training. So for Sunday’s recovery training we prepared a game plan against Panama,” said Indra Sjafri.

Amar Brkic is a U-17 Indonesian National Team player who has pursued a career in Germany from a young age. He is currently defending the Hoffenheim youth team. Brkic plays as a wing striker so he could be a good option for Bima Sakti in the attack line.

The Indonesian U-17 national team has pocketed one point in the U-17 World Cup after drawing 1-1 against Ecuador. This draw also opened up the opportunity for the U-17 Indonesian National Team to qualify for the round of 16.

Of the six groups, the top two teams automatically qualify for the round of 16 plus the four best third-place teams.
