The Spaniard Alex Marquez won the MotoGP sprint at the Malaysian Grand Prix on Saturday. The Ducati rider prevailed ahead of the two title contenders Jorge Martin (ESP) and Francesco Bagnaia (ITA, all Ducati). In the World Championship standings, Martin reduced the gap to leader Bagnaia to eleven points before the main race on Sunday.
