after a fall, Espargaro returns to his motorcycle… which catches fire

During the first qualifying practice session for the Sepang Grand Prix this Friday, Aleix Espargaro crashed. The Spaniard wanted to get back on his motorcycle afterwards, but it caught fire.

Impressive image during free practice 1 this Friday at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. Spaniard Aleix Espargaro fell shortly before a turn. No injuries for the 34-year-old rider who immediately got up to get back on his bike.

But when Espargaro wanted to get back on it, it caught fire. Fortunately, the Aprilia Racing driver was able to avoid the flames by moving away from the machine. A bad operation for the current fifth in the world ranking, who, unsurprisingly, finished last in the first free practice session.
