AC Milan – PSG: Brawl between supporters, a Parisian “seriously injured” by stabbing

Violent clashes took place late Monday evening between supporters of AC Milan and PSG, on the eve of the match between the two teams in the Champions League. According to the information of Corriere della Seraa group of a hundred Italian ultras, helmeted and holding smoke bombs, “ambushed” Parisians in the Navigli district.

A PSG supporter was “seriously injured” with a knife, Italian police confirmed to AFP. He was rushed to hospital, and according to the Italian daily, his life is not in danger.

The Corriere della Serra also mentions two other injured during these “guerrilla scenes”, with “terrified” customers on the terraces of bars and restaurants along the famous Milanese canals. The Parisian specifies for its part that PSG fans present on site confirm having heard of this fight and a stabbing attack. The police arrested at least one Italian supporter, who was taken to the police station.

The attack comes less than two months after a Newcastle United supporter was stabbed in the same area of ​​the Lombardy city before a Champions League match against Milan.
