Consistent with the path already undertaken in previous seasons, AC Milan e PUMA they return to join forces to RE:FIBRE, PUMA’s project that aims to transform textile waste and other used materials into new fabrics, a more sustainable long-term solution for recycling polyester waste. All PUMA RE:FIBER garments are composed of 95% from recycled textile waste and other materials used polyester.

The project is expected to kick off from 6.45pm on Saturday 4 November at the San Siro stadium, in the immediate pre-match of the Serie A match Milan-Udinese. Near Gate 7, in a dedicated area with music and entertainment, Rossoneri fans will be able to participate in the project and thus take up the challenge launched by the two brands and, in particular, by the footballer Yunus Musah e dal Brand Ambassador Daniele Massaroprotagonists of the call to action proposed on the Club’s digital channels.

In addition to being able to meet the Rossoneri legend Daniele Massaro, at the RE:FIBRE installation set up at the stadium, all fans will find two large collection containers, where they can deposit an old garment of any brand or material that they wish to recycle, thus giving it a second chance and actively contributing to the reduction of waste. Participants in the project will receive a voucher for a 15% discount to be used in the official AC Milan stores, together with a special gift for the first participants.

I am sure that our fans will respond once again and help us reduce waste, giving new life to their old clothes.”.

However, the match against Udinese will not be the only opportunity to participate in RE:FIBRE: all Rossoneri fans will in fact be able to contribute to the collection throughout the entire 2023/24 season, placing any clothing in the special containers that will be installed at Casa Milan and in store AC Milan. The items that are not deemed suitable for recycling will in fact be sent to the non-profit cooperative Dress in solidaritywhich will use it for its projects to support people and families in situations of great social hardship.
