This is an intense weekend for the Lena Judo Club, which this morning attended what they define as a «Master Lesson in Judo«. In a press release, the Lenense club assesses that it was «a morning full of energy and passion for judo«. The event was organized by the Asturian Federation of Judo and Associated Sports in collaboration with the Oviedo Sport gym in Oviedo, which received Yolanda Soler, Olympic bronze medalist in Atlanta and Barcelona, European champion on several occasions, to teach a Masterclass of Judo.
An event in which a hundred Asturian judokas gathered «who had the unique opportunity to learn from a true expert in the discipline«, they value from the Lena Judo Club, which explains «The Olympic medalist shared her vast knowledge and experiences, dividing the Masterclass into two parts to adapt to the gym space. One of the highlights was her focus on technical skills and most especially, O Uchi Gari, offering participants in-depth insight into their precise application in competition.«.

This morning was the first date but not the only one. This afternoon they will be present at the Auditorium Palacio de Congresos Príncipe Felipe de Oviedo will stage the Judo Gala of the Asturian Federation. According to the Lena Judo Club on their social networks, two Lenense judokas, the young Diego Menéndez and Marcos Fernández, «They will be our representatives and winners«.
Already on Sunday, it is an important event, with the Spanish Junior Super Cup that will be held at the Palacio de los Deportes de La Guía, in the city of Gijón.
