Last Saturday, the Estradenses competed at the facilities of the Galician Sports Technology Center (CGTD) of Galicia, in Pontevedra, in the TTR Sub 15 Sub 19, where they won a prize of one gold, two silvers and as many bronzes. The Sub 15 Mateo Ónega, Zoe Villar, Martín Rey and Darío Míguez, and the Sub 19 Manu Míguez, Alejandro Barcala and Rubén Comerón traveled to the capital.
Darío Míguez won gold in the mixed doubles with Sara del Castillo, from San Amaro, while Martín Rey won two silvers, in singles and in doubles with the player Pablo Albores, from Ravachol in Pontevedra. Among the objectives of this concentration are the preparation of the Under 19 national team with a view to the 2024 European Junior Championship and continuing to monitor athletes belonging to the Under 17 and Under 19 categories, with the purpose of identifying and nurturing athletes who could be summoned for future high competition events.
