Washington Wizards Exercise Team Options for Kispert, Davis, and Baldwin Jr. for 2024-25 Season

The Washington Wizards have exercised the respective team options for the 2024-25 season of the contracts of Corey Kispert, Johnny Davis and Patrick Baldwin Jr., according to the journalist from the Washington Post Ava Wallace.

The fourth-year option will allow Kispert to pocket $5.7 million. At 24 years of age, the forward is a consolidated piece in Washington thanks to his exterior accuracy. At this start of the season he is averaging 14.0 points per game with a three-point effectiveness of 42.9%.

For his part, Davis had a disappointing rookie year after being selected in tenth position in the 2022 draft. The outside player made his season debut this Monday against the Boston Celtics after recovering from a sprained left elbow.

Finally, Baldwin Jr. was more the big question mark of the three. The forward was included in the deal that sent Jordan Poole to Washington and Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors. Selected with the pick 28 in 2022, Baldwin Jr. played 31 regular season games with the Warriors last season. He will receive a salary of $2.4 million in the 2024-25 season.
