Brian Booms, Flat Rock: Broke Jake Shulaw’s school record for career tackles.

Cooper Buhl, Dundee: Delivered two punts that were downed inside the 5-yard line and stood out on defense in an upset of Hudson.

Brennan Caldwell, New Boston Huron: Blocked a PAT that would have won the game for Flat Rock, then scored a touchdown in overtime.

Hunter DeBarr, Whiteford: Ran for 128 yards on 15 carries and scored on a 67-yard run.

Ian Foster, SMCC: Ran for 182 yards and 3 TDs on just 6 carries.

Brody Lavis, Gibraltar Carlson: Intercepted two passes in the second half as the Marauders clinched at least a share of the Downriver League title.

Hayden Noland, Summerfield: Scored on a 62-punt return and a 59-yard run and added a pair of 2-point conversion receptions.

Cooper Nye, Airport: Ran for 2 touchdowns and completed 8-of-12 passes for 192 yards and 2 TDs as the Jets clinched a share of the Huron League title.

Hunter Poignon, Bedford: Ran for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns in a win over Monroe.

Dean Thomas, Ida: Ran for a school-record 340 yards and scored on runs of 24, 87, 13, 74 and 64 yards.

Briley Bordine, Dundee volleyball: Reached 1,000 career digs during a win over Hudson Tuesday, set a school record with 36 digs in a match Thursday against Summerfield.

Brooklyn Burke, New Boston Huron golf: Shot 89 to take medalist honors and help her team qualify for state in the Division 2 Regional at Sandy Creek.

Jovanny Gallegos, Monroe soccer: Had the only goal in both games as Monroe beat Ypsilanti Lincoln twice by 1-0 scores.

Carter Higgins, Milan soccer: Racked up 4 goals and 2 assists in District Tournament win over Summit Academy.

Holden Kennedy, SMCC soccer: Scored three goals in District Tournament win over Ann Arbor Central.

Bella LaFountain, SMCC cross country: Won the Freshman-Sophomore Girls division of the Bork Classic Saturday in 20:35.2.

Jason Nejedlik, Bedford tennis: Won the Division 2 Regional championship at No. 1 singles to help the Mules qualify for the state finals.

McKenna Payne, SMCC volleyball: Recorded 30 assists against Airport, 38 against Riverview and 73 in the Beast of the East Tournament to finish with 141 for the week.

Jenna Pilachowski, Jefferson cross country: Won the Junior-Senior Girls division of the Bork Classic Saturday in 19:34.9.

Isaak Rubley, Dundee cross country: Won the Junior-Senior Boys division of the Bork Classic Saturday in 15:56.5.

Nicole Rykse, Monroe swimming: Won the 200 and 500 freestyles in wins over Ypsilanti and Erie Mason-Ida Tuesday, won the same two events in the Belleville Tiger Invitational.

Jacob Stanislawski, Flat Rock cross country: Won the Freshman-Sophomore Boys division of the Bork Classic Saturday in 17:00.9.
