[미디어투데이=김광수 기자] Hwasun-gun announced that it carried out volunteer activities during the badminton pre-match period for the 2023 National (Disabled) Sports Festival at the Hwasun Hanium Culture and Sports Center.
This National Sports Festival will be held from the 13th to the 19th, and the pre-game was held in Hwasun from the 9th to the 14th.
About 120 volunteers from the Hwasun-gun Women’s Group Council participated in four areas, including stadium operation support, environmental cleanup, stadium information, and parking information, to help run the game smoothly.
In particular, in order to prevent ‘don’t ask crime’, which has emerged as a social problem these days, about 40 volunteers from the Hwasun-gun Autonomous Crime Prevention Coalition and the Hwasun-gun Volunteer Fire Department carried out safety guard activities, contributing to the prevention of safety accidents and crimes.
A Hwasun-gun official said, “We are grateful to the volunteers who worked hard to successfully host the National (Disabled) Sports Festival, which will be held in Jeonnam for the first time in 15 years.” He added, “We will continue to actively support volunteer activities to spread the volunteer culture.” “He said.
Meanwhile, the safety guard volunteer activity was organized by volunteer groups and institutions in the area, such as the Hwasun-gun Autonomous Crime Prevention Coalition, Hwasun Police Station, and Hwasun-gun Volunteer Fire Department, to prevent crime during large-scale events where an unspecified number of people gather, and the 『2023 Hwasun Dolmen Autumn Flower Festival』 During this period, activities will be carried out to ensure the safety of visitors and the smooth progress of the festival.
