This is what happened last March 26 to a man from Casoria and his son, victims of a brawl that arose after an offense against a woman. Today the perpetrators were arrested: they are six people against whom the investigating judge of the Naples court ordered house arrest (for five suspects) and prison (for one subject) for the crimes of multi-aggravated brawling and personal injury . The measure was carried out by the soldiers of the operational section of the Carabinieri of the Casoria company. The investigations began immediately after the violence. Immediately after the event, the victim reported to the police that he had been attacked, following an altercation that occurred on a road that connects the municipalities of CASORIA and Arzano, by four individuals known to him.
He then provided a different version, explaining that the attack against himself and his son had taken place in the municipality of Melito di Napoli and had been perpetrated, for personal reasons, by a single person, whose exact details he had provided. The real dynamics of the event were ascertained thanks to telephone interception. The investigators discovered the “existence of a pre-existing climate of conflict between two opposing factions led respectively by the victim and the alleged perpetrator of the ambush.
This situation – explains the Naples North prosecutor’s office in a note – had resulted, due to an insult suffered that same morning by the victim’s wife, in the violent brawl which was the subject of the investigation, which had seen the participation of several actors, including the presence of several individuals from Melita with multiple criminal convictions already implicated in similar episodes in the past has been ascertained”. The latter is in prison, while the other five are under house arrest.
