On October 15, the second edition of Vila Bira will be held in Hondarribia, which continues to grow, with 150 more participants compared to last year. The event began on Saturday with a talk with Haimar Zubeldia, Juanma Garate, Patxi Vila and Laura Meseguer.
The organizers of Vila Bira say that “it is a march with a different philosophy, with previously established stops for the safety of the participants, with gas climbs and, above all, with a festive atmosphere that makes it different in that each is observed. “the presence of women is increasing, which is around 23%.” The change of route and the previous work with Iparralde clubs “in order to find a more spectacular cross-border circuit than the previous one also helped a lot with participation.”
From these lines the organization wants to thank all those people who came to Hondarribia to see or participate in the event “as well as its sponsors: 360 cycling, 226 sports nutrition, Ges, Easo Motor, Hiruzta Txakolina, Zaik sports clothing , Hondarribiko Udala, Insalus and of course Gipuzkoa Kirolak for helping us from the beginning in the Emakumeak errepidean project.
