We have an interesting Venezuela-Chile at 11:00 p.m. from the Monumental Stadium of Maturín. Two teams that have had positive results in their last matches. The vinotinto tied with a great goal in the last minutes in Brazil against the canarinha while La Roja easily beat Peru 2-0.
Both teams are in the middle of the table tied on points (both with 4). It is a vital match to continue in the fight and obtain a result that keeps them with options to enter for the next World Cup event.
In history, Venezuela does not fare well in its duels with Chile. In the last 29 matches, the Venezuelans have only been able to beat the Chileans three times. Batista’s team will try to change that dynamic and win against Berizzo’s team. Both teams have only lost one game in 2023. The locals against Colombia (1-0) and the visitors against Uruguay (3-1).
