USI Badminton Sets Ambitious Goals for Upcoming Season

After shining on the courts last season, USI Badminton is approaching the new one with ambitions, while remaining faithful to its values ​​of work and conviviality, which have contributed to its success.

“We have everything we need to have a great sporting year,” says Jean-Guillaume Chabrillat, member of the USI Badminton office. The training slots for young people are already full, and the number of licensees will break its new record, rising to 180. “It’s a virtuous circle, because our visibility increases and makes it possible to attract new partners, essential to the proper functioning of the association,” adds the manager.

A large gathering took place recently at the Pierre-de-Coubertin gymnasium to present the challenges of this season. The opportunity to integrate newcomers, while sharing a good time.

If training has resumed since the beginning of September, competitions will arrive and the association is approaching them with ambitions, after having experienced numerous titles and climbs last season. The regional team will begin its campaign on October 8 in Roanne.

In total, there will be seven teams, including a veteran, who are registered in the championship. A little later, around ten Issoiriens will be entered individually, in Montbrison, the weekend of October 21 and 22. Finally, the club will remain active in organizations, between two adult tournaments in December and April, as well as a youth tournament in May.
