Thirty women’s teams and forty men’s teams will be present, or more than 250 archers. 3D shooting is a course discipline which takes place in a natural environment on targets which are animal representations made of compressed foam.
A team consists of three archers, each equipped with a different weapon. The test consists of completing a course of 24 targets placed at unknown distances ranging from 5 to 45 meters. The competition begins on Saturday, the final phases will take place on Sunday.
The organizing club, which mobilized sixty volunteers for the organization, refrained from hiring teams. Alain Joyeux, president, specifies that “part of the French team will be present, among the shooters there will be recent medalists at the European Championships”.
