The Black Bears enter play 10-6 all-time against UAlbany. Maine has won seven of the last eight meeting after having its seven game win streak against the Great Danes snapped with a 23-21 loss in Albany a year ago. In the latest meeting, Maine took a 21-17 lead with 1:50 left in regulation but was unable to hold on as the Great Danes drove down the field and score the game-winning touchdown with no time on the clock. Current Black Bear Montigo Moss had a touchdown reception in the game while Buggs Brown had six tackles, a career-high four pass breakups, and blocked a kick. Maine is coming off a 34-28 loss at Campbell. In the game, the Black Bears trailed 28-7 at the half before roaring back to cut the lead to six. However, a last attempt drive came up short for Maine.
