The team from the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ) managed to win the silver medal in the National Open University Archery Championship, promoted by the National Student Sports Commission of Private Institutions (CONADEIP), which was held at the facilities from the Universidad Panamericana campus Aguascalientes.
The event acquired great relevance due to the quality and large number of participants representing universities and higher education institutions, from the various federal entities of the Mexican Republic, who met in the city of Aguascalientes.

Miguel Ángel Huerta Aguilar, in this National Archery Championship, had an outstanding intervention in the recurve bow modality, proof of this is that he placed in second place, so he earned on his own merits to be on the podium of winners, with all the merits for it, while raising the colors of the UAZ and the state of Zacatecas.
The result of Huerta Aguilar has not been the product of chance or good luck, but of hours, days, weeks, intense practices alongside his coach Armando Pedro Díaz Serrano who outlined with every opportunity the work program to attend this National University, to be able to be in the fight for the first places until reaching the silver medal.
