The judo department of TSV Tauberbischofsheim continues to be successful. At the North Baden individual championships in the U13 age group in District 1 in Bad Herrenalb, all participants from TSV Tauberbischofsheim qualified for the Baden championship. First it was the turn of the male offspring. The TSV judo department had two participants: Julian Licko and Arthur Resch in the weight class over 55 kilograms. Both lost in the first round and had to go to the consolation round. But they still made it to the small final. But here they suffered another defeat and ended up in fifth place.
Then it was the turn of the female offspring. Competing in a North Baden event for the first time, Pia Zettelmeier was to have the “big hit” in the weight class up to 30 kilograms: she immediately won the title of North Baden champion. Ira-Anessa Umminger was also almost in no way inferior to her clubmate in the weight class up to 36 kilograms. Although she lost her semi-final fight against the eventual champion Sophia Wilke from TV Mosbach, she emerged victorious again for the bronze medal against Lou-Me Brandau from BC Schwetzingen.

Third in the group was Ebby Schilter in the weight class up to 48 kilograms. She caught a strong pool and ended up in fifth place.
So all starters from TSV Tauberbischofsheim have reached their goal, namely the Baden state individual championships, which will take place in Hockenheim in a few weeks. It is also the highest championship that can be achieved in this age group.
