Three judoka from TSB Schwäbisch Gmünd competed at the South German Individual Championships in Nürtingen.

Nürtingen. The U15 judoka competed at the South German Individual Championships in Nürtingen. Three judokas competed for the TSB Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Daniel Rösiger defeated Jason Ach (TV Vohenstrauss) with Tai-Otoshi in the class up to 60 kg. He then lost in two further fights and was eliminated from the competition early.

Alexander Lehmann – in the weight class over 66 kg – also left the competition early with one win and two defeats.

Among the girls, Nejla Bijavica once again showed a strong performance in the weight class up to 52 kg. In the first fight she defeated Lara Lewald (SV Nittendorf) with a hold. In the second fight she won against Lara Schweickert (DJK Aschaffenburg) after she was disqualified because of forbidden technique.

In the semifinals she lost to the eventual winner Daphne Wörner from VfL Sindelfingen. For third place, Bijavica defeated Lisa Kröner (FS Schweitenkirchen) with a Kochi-guruma throw and a subsequent hold.

The TSB Gmünd judo department is particularly pleased about the good cooperation with the JZ Heubach youth support center and Sven Albrecht.
