In Baseball America’s annual poll of the top tools in the Major Leagues, Corbin Carroll, Arizona’s rookie sensation, appears as the third most exciting player in the National League. Old Circuit managers, coaches, scouts and executives also consider the outfielder the number one runner, the second fastest and the number two ball player in the league. In the AL, Corey Seager, shortstop from Texas, was ranked as the second best hitter, only behind Shohei Ohtani.
The rattlesnake Zac Gallen was recognized as the number one pitcher of the National Team.
The managers in the final, Bruce Bochy (Vigilantes) and Torrey Lovullo, appear in the “top” three of their respective leagues.
Good drafts, keys in the resurgence of Texas and Arizona
