A curious goal secured third division team 1. FC Saarbrücken a very late point at VfB Lübeck. The Saarlanders seem to have a lot of luck these days. However, things are completely different at Arminia Bielefeld.
VfB Lübeck’s crisis in results continued on matchday nine with a draw at 1. FC Saarbrücken. Löhden gave VfB the lead with a header after a corner. Richard Neudecker (30th) tried from a distance for Saarbrücken, but goalkeeper Philipp Klewin was able to deflect the powerful shot to the side. The hosts increased the pressure, but were unable to capitalize on their chances for a long time. With the last action of the game, Naifi artfully turned a corner into the Lübeck goal for a deserved equalizer.
