The Venice Marathon returns on Sunday 22 October, the 42 kilometer marathon that starts from Stra and winds through the villas of the Brenta Riviera to cross the Libertà bridge and arrive in Venice, with the finish line on Riva degli Schiavoni. The first race to start will be the 10 kilometers at 8.15 am from Parco San Giuliano in Mestre. Then it will be the half marathon’s turn, starting at 9am from Piazza Ferretto in Mestre. The Venice Marathon will start at 9.40 am from Villa Pisani in Stra. The closures of regional road 11, the Riviera del Brenta, will begin at 6am, continuing progressively along the route in stages, until the afternoon, when the stops are expected to end, with a maximum deadline of 4.30pm.

Municipality of Stra
Via Doge Pisani (Strada Regionale 11) and Via Nazionale with a ban on parking and forced removal of vehicles on both sides of the road from 06:00 to 12:00 on Sunday 22 October and in any case until this has been done adequate cleaning by the organization’s employees. Pedestrians, bicycles and the like are also prohibited from transit. Further details in the ordinance.
Municipality of Fiesso d’Artico
Closure of via Naviglio and via Riviera del Brenta, approximately from 08:00 to 11:30 and in any case from the beginning of the route delimitation operations and until the end of the cleaning operations of the same. Details on the Municipality website.
Municipality of Dolo
Complete closure of Regional 11/Provincial 23 from 08.30am to 12.00pm.
Municipality of Mira
From 09:00 to 13:30, an ordinance provides for a temporary total closure to traffic and a ban on parking with the forced removal of vehicles on both sides of the roadway on Via Nazionale SR n. 1, Riviera Silvio Trentin, via Don G. Minzoni, via Riscossa, via Venezia SR n. 11 in the sections under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Mira.
