Since 2014, Steve Kerr and Stephen Curry have formed a duo that works and which has even revolutionized the game. But after 9 years, the honeymoon seems to be over, the proof with this surprising exit from the coach on his MVP of the Finals.
Without Steve Kerr on the bench, the Warriors probably would not have become the dynasty they are today, nor one of the best teams of all time. Before him, Stephen Curry and its partners were only a young and promising group who could not assert themselves in the playoffs, while in their first year in the Bay, they were champions.
But the opposite is also true. Without the legendary skill of the Splash Brothers and the defense of Draymond Green, Steve Kerr would probably not have established himself among the greatest coaches. If sports love at first sight existed, it would undoubtedly resemble the relationship that the former Bulls and Spurs trigger has had with his squad since the summer of 2014.
