ARICCIA (current events) – The city protagonist of a new film

Ariccia is still the protagonist of important cinematographic productions. In the historic center Luca Zingaretti, taking off his actor’s clothes, is the director of a film that will be ready within the year with various emerging actors. Filming, which lasted three days, will end today at 10pm. Involving Piazza di Corte, the Monumental Bridge and Via del Parco. The areas are off limits. The film is called “The House of Looks”. On site several trucks, dressing rooms, equipment that are animating the historic center.

The film, based on the novel of the same name by Daniele Mencarelli (also author of the book that won the 2020 Premio Strega Giovani Everything asks for salvationwhich in turn inspired a Netflix TV series), he says Marco’s story, a 20-year-old boy who has a great ability to feel, to sense and to empathize with the pain of the world and who writes poetry and seeks “forgetfulness” in alcohol and drugs, a state of unconsciousness that is impenetrable even to anguish to exist and live. Zingaretti wrote the screenplay together with Gloria Malatesta, Stefano Rulli and Mencarelli himself.
