THE NEWS

A renovation that involves, in addition to the three tennis courts, the construction of three new padel courts and one for pickleball, a new discipline, a real bet, being a sport already widespread in the USA but still little known in Italy. And then a soccer field and a small gym. A restyling of the entire structure, equipped with three new changing rooms and which also houses a welcoming clubhouse for moments of relaxation and whose pitches for the winter will be covered by a new type of “balloons” twelve meters high .
The new name is “Davis Plus Center” to recall the high quality and technology of the materials used, the new style of the center, bringing back the “branded” style and colors (bright red) of the Plus Center network present in numerous cities in the Triveneto with more than twenty-six fields divided between the three sports. Abram Rallo, heir of the founder and tennis enthusiast, invites you to try padel, a discipline that is enjoying great success in our country (but also in the city, given the number of clubs that are “reconverting” tennis courts) and “that pleases and entertains from the first moment.”
Easily accessible, equipped with a large car park adjacent to the fields and the new entrance from via Santa Maria dei Battuti where the new cycle path passes, the Davis Plus Center aims to become a meeting point, welcoming for all people from Mestre, both sporty and less sporty , from adults to the youngest for whom there are group courses for all disciplines, but also individual lessons with qualified teachers, numerous tournaments, “clinics”, events and activities.

IL PICKLEBALL

The great hope is that new users will also be able to appreciate pickleball, a true experiment and bet for the future which is a hybrid sport halfway between padel, tennis, badminton and ping pong. Also present at the inauguration was the deputy mayor and councilor for Sport Andrea Tomaello who immediately mentioned “the proximity to the city center and the warm and welcoming impact of the colors of the structure” (the green of the lawn, the blue of the structure and the red fields made in new technical material that really catches the eye) and the president of the City Council Ermelinda Damiano, who has always been involved in raising awareness of the fight against breast cancer with the “Pink October” which will see one of the initiatives right at the Davis Plus Center .
