The Chapelle Judo Club Reopens with New Management Team

The Chapelle Judo club gathered at the Aurélien-Hatton gymnasium dojo to celebrate the reopening of the martial arts club at USC. A new management team has been formed.

The members of the new office are the president Zakiya Belhiouane, the secretary Julie Voisin Mabileau and the treasurer Aurore Mabileau.

“Our approach to recreating the La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin judo club was to allow children, from the age of 4, as well as adolescents and adults, to practice these disciplines of judo and taiso (muscle strengthening, from 16 years old). This sporting activity has been present for many years in the town,” indicate the new leaders of the club.

There are still places for all ages

Who specify: “It is still possible to register for the Chaplois Judo club, and there are still places in all age categories”.

During this reopening, the members took the opportunity to make an exceptional belt presentation to the club’s oldest member, Loïc Chambon, who has been registered with the La Chapelle judo club for forty-three years. His judo teacher at the time, Yves Mabileau, as well as the new teacher Mathieu Gouault, gave him a brown belt embroidered with his name, as a thank you for his loyalty to the club.
