With 91:73, the Bonn team swept the Turkish representative Bursaspor off the board. The key? Five Baskets players scored in double figures and a brutal dominance on the boards. Bonn won the rebound duel with 36:28, including 11 (!) on the offensive board. With 16 points, power forward Till Pape (25) was the Baskets’ top scorer.
Head coach Roel Moors was correspondingly satisfied after the game. “We started the game very focused and were almost always in control after that. A few unnecessary ball losses caused Bursaspor to go on a run twice, but in the end our balance between assists and turnovers was fine,” said the Baskets coach.

The winning streak should be extended to five games on Sunday. Then the HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim will be guests in the Telekom Dome. A win against the second-to-last team is actually a must for the Bonn team.
