The Central European Rally will be the penultimate race of the World Championship again next year

The ceremonial start of the historic premiere on Hradčanské náměstí will take place in exactly one week, the first special stage will be in Velká Chuchla. Today, the automobile federation revealed the calendar for next year, which again contains 13 races, and the twelfth will again be the Central European Rally in the heart of Europe. The format should remain the same with the start in Prague and other special stages in the territory of the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria.

“The project is viable, fans are extremely interested in it. It clearly demonstrates the excellent cooperation of all three states and the organizing teams. I am proud that we can look forward to the best world rally in our regions next year as well,” said the president of the Autoklub ČR, Jan Šťovíček. All three countries had previously agreed on a three-year project.

The championship will start again in a year’s time with the Monte Carlo Rally, on January 25. After the Central European Rally, it will conclude with a competition in Japan on November 24. Kalle Rovanperä from Finland is aiming to defend his title this year, and he can celebrate another trophy next Sunday in Passau, Germany.
