Last weekend, September 30, the General Physical Training (VFS) competition in the U11, U13 and 15 age groups took place at the Jānis Skredel stadium in Riga.
The competition was organized by the Latvian Hockey Federation (LHF).
VFS competitions, in which Latvian children and youth championship teams participated, took place in the following disciplines: U11 – 2013.-2014. b. years girls and boys: Long jump from a place, throwing a ball forward from below (2 kg), longing in the bar with bent arms and 500 m run. U13 – 2011.-2012. b. years girls and boys: Long jump from a place, throwing a ball forward from below (3 kg), pull-up on the bar and 1000 m run. U15 – 2009.-2010. b. years girls and boys: Triple jump from a standing position, throwing a ball forward from below (4 kg), pull-up on the bar and 2000 m run.
It should be noted that the shuttle race was canceled due to bad weather.
The VFS competition also determined the winners of all three age groups – in six different categories.
