The 2023 Sports Fair unites generations in a day of activity and fun
The Department of Sports Montijo Town Hall has announced that, once again, the Sports Fair will take place this Saturday, October 7.
From 10:00 a.m., the Plaza de España and the Atrium of the Church will be the scene of a display of sports activities for the entire community.
The festivities will begin with an urban circuit hiking march at 9:30 a.m., organized by the Vegas Bajas hiking group.
The departure and arrival of this activity will be in the Plaza de España.
The schedule continues with a variety of classes and exhibitions: at 10:30 a.m., Pilates led by Balance Studio; at 11:00 a.m., a HIT session with Corporate Gym; at 12:00 p.m., a judo exhibition in the Atrium, and at 1:00 p.m., the public will be able to move to the rhythm of Active Danceagain by Balance Studio.
With the little ones in mind, the traditional ride-on race has been organized for children from 2 to 5 years old at 1:30 p.m.
Registration will take place directly in the Plaza de España.
Balance Studio will return to the stage to close the activities with a special exhibition at 1:45 p.m.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Throughout the morning, the Montijo Atrium and the avenues Empress Eugenia y Castelar They will host various activities, such as basketball, soccer, athletics, petanque, tennis, judo, model airplanes, chess, cycling, billiards, paddle tennis, and much more.
A bicycle will be up for grabs at the end of the day.
Those interested in participating in the draw must obtain and seal an accreditation with 9 boxes.
Once completed, it must be deposited in an urn located in the Plaza de España.
Montijo Fruitsas is tradition, will be present collaborating with the Sports Fair.
