Sprukts will assist Dārziņas in the 3×3 Latvian U-16 hockey team

During his career, 41-year-old Sprukts played 14 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) as part of the Florida “Panthers”, represented the national team in 12 world championships and two Olympic Games. The striker ended his career in 2020.

During his career as a hockey player, Dārziņš participated in ten world championships and three Olympic Games in the Latvian national team, but then he became involved in the work of the national team as a coach and, assisting Hari Vītoliņš, won bronze medals with the Latvian national team this spring.
