Preparations for this centuries-old event are going well at the festival committee. Bourru, this famous drink with aromas of red fruits, which has become as famous as Asterix’s cervoise, will be available at the refreshment bar, provided you use it in moderation.
Tradition will once again be respected, for how long? Only Gargantua or Saint Vincent could say it, but it’s a bit of local heritage… It will therefore be eternal. The 2023 vintage will be all about quality and quantity.
Band, shows, open museum…
Tomorrow, from 7 p.m., two free concerts are on the program: the group Ça m’Rappel, musicians we remember, and around 9 p.m., Nash (pop rock), an essential group in Nièvre. Barbecue meal platters, fries, cheese and dessert will be served.
Sunday October 15, from 2:30 p.m., the entire show remains generous and free. The Banda Oranger Fanfare, which performed an exceptional production at Saint-Leu, will alternate with the folkloric dance and traditional music group the Bourbonnais de Lurcy-Levis who will perform their show on the Riousse washhouse, which has had a makeover in awaiting the repair of the surroundings.
The humorous bikes present at the show will stroll in the street up and down the Côte de Riousse which will take on the appearance of Tourmalet for the occasion, between the open cellar and the city center, nothing will be left to chance.
Florent, balloon sculptor, will be present, a carousel and archery too and a multitude of games will be installed for the youngest.
The Vine Museum will be open. Gérard Semence will exhibit his collection of driftwood. Julien Lancelot will sign his book Combattants des conflicts and the Tourist Office will present the beautiful corner of Nièvre between Loire and Allier but also beyond.
Who can still say that in the hamlet of Riousse, commune of Livry, nothing ever happens?
