Singer Adele has been in a romantic relationship with Rich Paul for two years. The now successful and very rich sports agent has opened up about his drug-filled past in a new autobiography.
Singer Adele, 35, has been happily in a relationship with Rich Paul, 41, for two years. The now millionaire sports agent, who represents NBA stars like LeBron James, 38, had a difficult childhood. He revealed this in his new memoir.
Rich Paul on his tough past
“I never had the chance to be a child,” reveals the 41-year-old, according to “Daily Mail,” in his autobiography “Lucky Me,” which will be published on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. The successful consultant, who is now said to have an estimated fortune of 120 million US dollars (the equivalent of around 114 million euros) and lives with Adele on a luxury estate in Beverly Hills, grew up in poor circumstances in a crime-ridden area of Cleveland in the US state of Ohio on.
His mother took drugs
When he was just four years old, he found out that his mother was a drug addict, says Paul. He started dealing drugs as a young teenager and got a girl pregnant when he was 14. “Crack was so powerful that it decimated my mother’s love and hastened my youth,” Paul writes. Within a very short time he had to develop “from a boy to a wolf”.
His father threatened to shoot him
His father even once threatened to shoot him – “like Marvin Gaye’s father did” – when he brought home bad grades at school. “Keep it up and I’ll take you out of this world,” Rich Paul Sr. is said to have said to him. The threat worked: “That moment changed the course of my life,” says Paul looking back. He then concentrated more on his school career again. The girl who was expecting a child from him had an abortion.

Rich Paul is now very successful in his profession and is dating one of the richest singers in the world. After separating from her ex-husband Simon Konecki, 49, Adele fell in love with the sports agent in 2021.
