New life for the Tresenda sports center. After a long period of inactivity, which coincided with the end of the twenty-year activity of As Tresenda calcio, thanks to the commitment of the municipal administration of Teglio led by the mayor Ivan Filippini and the sports associations Us Tiranese, Canoa Club Valtellina and Asd Tennis Club Tresenda , the sports center and, in particular, the football field will return to host matches and events. “Finally – commented Mayor Filippini – we will be able to see the sports center again populated by young people and children, a small corner of Tresenda will return to being as vital as it once was. To best inaugurate the sports center, the Tei Sport event was organized with the “objective of promoting sporting activities for all children and young people”. On Saturday 14 October more than 250 people including children and parents animated the Tresenda sports center. Primary and secondary school children were able to try their hand at volleyball, football, tennis, karate, cycling, badminton and athletics. For adults, however, Cai Teglio has organized a walk through the vineyards. “In addition to lunch in company, the day saw a nice final chestnut party for everyone, organized by the Gli Skipazzi, Alpini di Tresenda and San Giacomo association. The success of this day is the result of great team work and commitment of many people.”
