June 2024 is not that far away, namely day 30day on which Piotr Zielinski will no longer be a Napoli player. He still hopes for a renewal with the Neapolitans, but time passes and for the moment De Laurentiis’s club and his entourage have not found the right solution to continue together.
Last summer Zielinski was one of the few players to say “NO” to petrodollars coming from Saudi Arabia, in fact Al-Ahli had offered the Pole a contract worth 15 million euros a year for three years, but he, also pushed by his family he gave up, also hoping that his refusal would lead to the desired renewal, which has not yet happened.
Given the difficulties he is having in renewing his contract with Napoli, many teams are taking an interest in Zielinski, in particular a sporting director who knows him well, and would do anything to bring him to Turin, the Juventus side, Cristiano Giuntoli, who has never hidden from appreciating Polish talent. According to some rumors he would like him to join Juventus next season, and he has already spoken about it with the player’s agent, but it seems that Zielinski doesn’t want to know, at least as long as there is a small possibility of renewal with the Azzurri.
Even Lazio and in particular their coach, Maurizio Sarri, with whom he worked in Naples, would like to bring him to the biancoceleste, Sarri would have wanted him already this season, to replace the departing Milinkovic Savic, but it was not possible, as the will of the player, but above all the requests of De Laurentiis did not even start the negotiations between the two clubs. But it doesn’t mean that the Lotito-Fabiani duo won’t return to office if the player doesn’t renew. However, the fact remains that starting from February 1st 2024, at the end of the winter transfer market, Piotr Zielinski will be able to sign a pre-contract with another team, so before that date we will have to understand whether the much desired, smoked match by the footballer will arrive white, or Napoli will decide to bring him to maturity and lose him for nothing, losing a lot of millions.
