Potential Record Transfer: Liverpool FC Eyeing Leroy Sané as Mohamed Salah Replacement

DFB national player Leroy Sané is currently in top form.

This season, the 27-year-old scored six goals in seven Bundesliga games for FC Bayern Munich. The offensive player also scored against Manchester United on the first matchday of the UEFA Champions League.

The performances unsurprisingly arouse interest in the transfer market.

Salah transfer should enable Sané change

As “The Mirror” reports, Liverpool FC is ready to put a record fee on the table for Sané.

The “Reds” are said to have chosen the former Manchester City player as a replacement for Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian will probably move to the Saudi Pro League next summer. The transfer fee from the transfer will be used to implement the Sané deal.

The LFC’s previous record signing is Darwin Núñez, who is said to have cost over 90 million euros. Sané moved from the “Skyblues” to Munich in the summer of 2020 for around 50 million euros.

The contract of the 56-time national player runs until 2025. Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund recently announced that he wanted to hold talks about an extension (all information >>>).
