Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers are negotiating a contract extension that will allow the winger to finish his career in his city.
The Fresno State product hopes to be able to compete for more NBA titles with the ‘sailing ships’, to reward the commitment shown on several occasions by the franchise in spending any resources to have a competitive roster.
“It would be a dream to reach the end of your career here, to be able to say that you played at home and that you did something great with this shirt. So yes, it’s my main priority.”
George could sign for a maximum of around $220 million over 4 years.
The 6-time All NBA player last year put together averages of 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.5 steals.
