Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had his best game of the season in his team’s victory against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium.
With the score 3-3, Mahomes threw a 46-yard pass to teammate Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who finished in the Chargers’ end zone. The 28-year-old star scored three more touchdown passes, including a very important one to Isiah Pacheco late in the game.

Mahomes finished his night of work with an impressive total of 32 completions on 42 attempts, while amassing 424 yards in the air. His best accomplice was once again Travis Kelce, who captured his teammate’s offerings 12 times. The two joined forces during the third quarter, when the last named scored a touchdown.
As for the Chargers (2-4), they were very resilient, responding each time to each touchdown scored by the Chiefs (6-1) during the second quarter. However, it was not enough to record victory.
The Cardinals sink further into the crisis
The Arizona Cardinals (1-6) recorded a sixth defeat in seven games by losing 20 to 10 to the Seattle Seahawks (4-2).
The Seattle team did not have to force too much in this duel given the weakness of their opponents today. Cards quarterback Joshua Dobbs did not have a great game, despite his touchdown in the second quarter. He suffered four sacks, and he only managed to find his teammates 19 times on 33 attempts for gains of 146 yards.
Seattle relied on the kicking skills of Jason Myers, who made two field goals in the second half of the game, including one from 48 yards.
Arizona will try to return to victory next week against the Baltimore Ravens, who beat the Detroit Lions 38 to 6 on Sunday afternoon.
