EuroCup – For its entry into the competition, Paris Basketball remained in line with its start to the year in Betclic ELITE. Result: a big victory against the Lithuanians of Vilnius (105-78).

Whether in the Betclic ELITE championship or now in the EuroCup, Paris Basketball has had a very good start to the season. Indeed, the Parisians and their coach Tuomas Iisalowho are discovering this competition after winning the BCL last year, won against the very young Lithuanian team Wolves Vilnius (105-78).

Steamroller in the second half

The first Parisian minutes were however up and down, facing an opposing defense in place and a physical attack. But Paris still had an advantage of more than ten from the start of the second quarter (29-15, 11′). Subsequently, the capital club stammered its basketball more offensively, coach Tuomas Iisalo castigating Nadir Hifi on a loss of ball (48-40, 20′).

But then, the TGV Paris Basketball set off, without ever stopping, with its leader TJ Shorts as stationmaster (20 points, 9 assists and only 1 ball loss). The gap swelled to reach the 30-point mark at the end of the match, ending in a very large victory (105-78). For its first European release, Nadir Hifi was rather comfortable with 11 points and 7 assists in 20 minutes of play.

In any case, Paris Basketball continues its flawless run at the start of the season, with four victories in Betclic ELITE and therefore an inaugural success in the EuroCup.
