Oviedo trained this morning in El Requexón already thinking about the next league match, on Friday against Albacete at Tartiere (9:00 p.m.). Luis Carrión led a session that began in the gym and at around 11 o’clock the players jumped onto field number 1. All the players who played on Saturday against Leganés were in training, except for Luismi and Paulino, who did not step on the grass. The club explained that their absence was due to precaution and in principle it is expected that both will train throughout the week and be able to play against Albacete. The midfielder and the winger have been starters in the last few games.
Furthermore, the one who still hasn’t trained with the group is Alemão, whose absence is already taking longer than expected. The Brazilian forward was injured against Burgos. He sprained his knee and was expected to be back in early October. Carrión said days ago that he expected to have him back this week but, at least for now, he will have to wait.
