NBA: schedules, TV channels, summary… How to follow the basketball season?

It’s the season of all challenges in the NBA. What will the San Antonio Spurs be able to do with the arrival of French prodigy Victor Wembanyama? Will Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets be able to retain their NBA title, acquired for the first time in their history last June? Will the Phoenix Suns offensive armada led by Kevin Durant go for their first ring together?

And what about the return of the last MVP of the regular season Joel Embiid or the potential last season of American superstar LeBron James… The answers to all these questions will begin this Tuesday, October 24 with the launch of the 2023-2024 NBA season, which begins with a clash between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers (at 1:30 a.m. French time on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday).

Only one official broadcaster in France

The toughest basketball championship in the world will take place from October 24 to April 14 for the regular season. The playoffs will begin immediately and run until the NBA finals scheduled for around June 6, depending on the duration of the previous series. The biggest stars (Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Giánnis Antetokoúnmpo, etc.) will also have their eyes on the Paris Olympic Games in the summer of 2024.

In short, an NBA season full of promise. To follow it from France, two solutions are available to basketball fans. The official broadcaster remains BeIN Sports for one more season with 14 weekly matches broadcast live. The majority of meetings take place from midnight or 1 a.m. Only a few matches take place in late hours around 9 p.m. French time.

To follow all of the NBA matches, it is also possible to subscribe to the NBA League Pass, to access all of the matches, replays and analyzes of the season (from 17.99 euros per month or 119.99 euros for the season). This is the official website of the American championship which offers live transcription of all the matches. And throughout the season, the editorial staff of Le Parisien will accompany you to best follow, among others (but not only), Victor Wembanyama. The many other French players will also be the subject of special attention.
